Career Profile
Dr. Habibu Tijjani is a lecturer with the Department of Environmental Health Science, Faculty of Health Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja, Nigeria.
His research interest is in the area of Clinical Sciences and Environmental Toxicology.
He has worked in different laboratories in Nigeria and abroad as a research fellow.
His present research focuses on evaluating the larvicidal activities of medicinal plants, clinical implications and toxicological effects.
Dr. Tijjani is a member of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB) and a registered member of Environmental Health Officers, Nigeria.
He obtained his PhD in Clinical Biochemistry and Toxicology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
He has to his credit several publications, such as articles, reviews, books, and book chapters, in reputable outlets, both locally and internationally.
